About BaseIQ

We built BaseIQ to put one thing right.

That maintaining a building had become a job of managing suppliers rather than managing outcomes. BaseIQ removes that fragmentation: every trade under one accountable partner.

The why

Most organisations don’t have a maintenance problem. They have a coordination problem.

The spreadsheet of fourteen contractors. The finger-pointing when something fails. The chase for a certificate the week before an audit. None of it is one person’s fault, and that’s exactly the problem. BaseIQ replaces it with one partner, one point of contact and one line of accountability across every trade and every site.

Founder-led
A dozen suppliers means a dozen people who can say "not my job." One partner means one person who can’t.

BaseIQ is founder-led by John and Hano, who started the business out of that exact frustration. Founder-led means the people accountable for the company are the people you can reach, not a call centre, not a layer of account managers between you and a decision.

The model, told straight

New is an advantage when it’s built deliberately.

We’d rather be honest about where we are than over-promise. Here’s how BaseIQ is built, and where it’s heading.

Today: focused and asset-light

We run lean and deliberately, engaging vetted, qualified trades under one accountable contract. It keeps us fast, flexible and honest about what we can stand behind.

Building: an owned capability

As contract volume grows, we’re building toward an owned fleet and in-house technicians, bringing more delivery under our own roof, in step with demand. Deliberate growth, not a gap.

Always: one line of accountability

Whatever the mix behind the scenes, what you get never changes: one partner, one point of contact, one record, one person who owns the outcome.

What we stand on

Four values, and a direction on ESG we can stand behind.

Accountability

One partner who owns the outcome, and can’t pass it on. Every promise we make ladders up to this.

Verified delivery

Vetted, qualified people on every job, and the right competence for the work in front of them. No exceptions.

Digital transparency

Clear records, certificates and communication. You always know what was done, by whom, and when, held in one place.

Planned over reactive

We move organisations off the break-fix treadmill onto a planned, preventative regime. Fewer failures, lower whole-life cost, and lower carbon.

On sustainability we publish only what we can evidence. Planned-preventative maintenance is genuinely greener: serviced equipment runs efficiently, lasts longer and is replaced less often, and that’s the foundation of our Net Zero direction. We’ll report real figures as we have them, not aspirational ones we can’t.
