Our commitment
BaseIQ is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies. Accessibility is treated as a requirement of the build, not an afterthought. It matters to us, and it is a genuine criterion for the public-sector and education buyers we work with.
Conformance
This website has been designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Measures we have taken include:
- Semantic, structured HTML with a logical heading order and landmark regions.
- A visible "skip to content" link and clearly visible keyboard focus styles throughout.
- Full keyboard operability: every interactive element is reachable and usable without a mouse.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA; the brand red is never used for body text, only for fills, accents and icons.
- Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting: animation is reduced or removed for those who ask for it.
- Text that reflows and remains readable on small screens and at high zoom, with touch targets of at least 44px.
- Descriptive link text, form labels tied to their fields, and alternatives for non-text content.
Known limitations
We aim for full AA conformance, but no site is ever perfect. If you encounter any part of this site that is difficult to use, please tell us; we treat accessibility issues as priority fixes.
